About Australian Capital Home Loans

Australian Capital Home Loans Pty Ltd began operations in August 1997. The Company is a specialist mortgage originator in the Australian mortgage market introducing loans to Bank and Non-bank Lenders. The Company has access to an extensive range of loan products through several Lenders which is marketed to the public through its Personal Bankers and Franchise outlets.

An integral part of the Company's culture is the delivery of post settlement services to its clients which is backed by Our Promise.

The Company has grown rapidly since it began operations and is continuing to appoint Personal Bankers in South-East Queensland and Franchisees throughout Australia.

Principals

Barry Parker

Barry Parker started in the finance industry in 1982 in a consumer finance company and held the position of real estate lending manager for QLD & NSW. He joined the mortgage broking industry in 1991 as a mortgage broker.

In 1997, Barry identified a shift in the market towards non-bank lenders and mortgage managers and then set about securing the management program with Adelaide Bank.

Barry is the incumbent Managing Director and has overseen the growth that has taken Australian Capital Home Loans Pty Ltd to prominence in Queensland.

Geoffrey Thomas

Geoffrey Thomas has been a director of Australian Capital Home Loans Pty Ltd since its incorporation.

Geoffrey was the CEO of Capitalcorp Financial Services for 14 years to 2004. Capitalcorp Financial Services was sold to the publicly listed company in 2004.

Geoffrey has over 25 years of extensive experience in the finance industry.

General Manager - Personal Banking

Tony Meeds

Tony joined Australian Capital Home Loans in November 2003 as a personal banking consultant. Tony currently manages a team of 20 Personal Bankers. This involves all aspects of home loan lending from pre - application to settlement and post settlement monitoring of client's loans. Tony is a qualified mechanical engineer City and Guilds Cert., Higher National Cert. in Mechanical Engineering, member of MIAA (ACM) and holds a current Real Estate Principals Licence. In February of 2007 Tony was promoted to the position of General Manager.

Franchise Manager

Louis De Vos

Louis joined Australian Capital Home Loans in April 2002, in the capacity of Call Centre and Marketing Manager. He has an extensive background in Hospitality Management at a Executive Level. Louis possesses Tertiary Qualifications in Education and has applied his credentials and knowledge in this arena to a number of assignments throughout his employment history. Louis is responsible for the recruiting of all new Franchisees and Personal Bankers at Australian Capital Home Loans.
